Membership and Recognition
The International General Certificate qualification meets the academic requirements for Technician Membership (Tech IOSH)
of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
What is IGC open Book exam?
IGC Open Book Exam is a written examination during which a student registered for the exam is permitted to consult references such as refer internet, notes, and text
books to prepare the answers for the questions. The IGC open book exam calls for analysis, or judgment, rather than memorization.
IGC open book exam is a digital exam and hence Students are required to type the answers in word doc instead of using pen and paper.
Students are provided with a user ID to login to the IGC Open book exam platform. Upon successful login, student can view and download the question paper of IGC.
Student can start preparing the answers for the questions by looking into their references. The exam platform will be enabled only for a limited hour as per
UK time and the students are required to upload the answer sheets within the allotted hours.
IG1 Open Book Exam Passing Score
The passing score of IG1 open book exam is 45. Students who score 45 will be declared pass in the exam.
Students who score above 65 will be awarded Credit and students who score greater than 75 will be awarded Distinction.
The qualification grade is based on the result from Unit IG1.
