Fire Safety Engineering basically teaches students ways and measures to
protect people, property, and the environments from fire. The stream is
also known as Safety Engineering which is the practice of applying
chemistry, physics, and engineering principles from mechanical, electrical,
fire safety, and civil engineering to control harmful and destructive
effects of fire and smoke.
Fire Engineering courses include topics such as fire detection, suppression
and mitigation, and maintaining a tenable environment for evacuation during
a fire.
While studying the Safety Engineering Courses, students get the knowledge
of the design and layout of equipment, processes and supporting systems
along with fire prevention, control, suppression, and extinguishment.
Eligibility

Safety In charge, Fire Safety Trainer, Health and Safety Instructor, Safety Instructor.
WHY THIS COURSE IS IMPORTANT
The program helps the candidates to become good safety personnel
through extensive and tiring training and study sessions. With the
increment in hazard factors, the demand scale for more safety
personnel has also raised tremendously.
For those candidates who wish to pursue engineering in this field,
going for a Diploma in Fire and Safety Management course can prove
to be helpful. Though the number of job opportunities mainly in
this sector are related to disaster management and security, the
opportunities will considerably widen with time. The reason for it
is with an increase in the industry's requirement for safety
measures is also increasing.
The industries like Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Central
Industrial Security Force (CNSC), or in the mining area, etc.
usually have a high chance for this kind of accident due to
sometimes people's negligence or any faulty machines. These areas
usually have lots of workers and staff working in any small mishap
can lead to loss of many lives. Therefore proper safety measures
are required to be taken by the fire official.
