ABOUT THE COURSE
This course provides you with an understanding of what are classed as
hazardous chemicals and how you can identify them. You will learn what they
are used for in the workplace and what is needed to ensure they are used
safely so as to avoid injury and illness in the work environment.
Chemical hazards and toxic substances pose a wide range of health hazards
(such as irritation, sensitization, and carcinogenicity) and physical
hazards (such as flammability, corrosion, and explosibility). So we will
learn here how to prevent ourselves from hazardous chemicals and what &
which equipment should be used for various types of chemicals.
